Sanyo RD 4260 Cassette Deck
Sanyo RD 4260
This excellent example of a Sanyo RD 4260 stereo cassette deck was made in Japan around 1974-75.
It is a fully functioning transistorised recording and playback unit and incorporates the Dolby system for noise reduction. It features an auto shut off system on playback, recording, rewind & fast forward, memory rewind system and cue system for more quickly finding a recorded position.
In addition to the above features, recording signal sources may be stereo tuners, microphones, other tape recorders or record players (with pre-amplifiers). Snap-in loading and push key ejection simplify cassette tape handling. The deck also has an option to use either NORMAl or CHROME (chromium dioxide) tapes.
The two illuminated level-meters are raised in a panel and provide a visual check on the output levels which can be adjusted with the slider controls.
