Scandinavian teak floor lamp

This 1960s Scandinavian floor lamp is a wonderfully proportioned piece of Nordic Mid-century lighting. Standing at a compact height of 1.3 meters (130cm), its slightly scaled-down footprint makes it an ideal accent lamp to nestle beside an armchair, tucked into a reading corner, or placed in spaces where a full-height floor lamp might feel overwhelming. We have added a locally hand made shade using a silk boucle ribbon - 154cm  including shade.
The design showcases superb woodwork details, featuring a solid teak base supporting a beautifully veneered pole accented with carved teak collars at the top and bottom, separated by fine brass ring detailing.
 
The original timber elements have been fully prepped and freshly varnished, bringing out the deep golden-brown grain of the teak while offering a clean, silky finish.
