    The Hacker Herald Model No. RP35 dates from 1966/67 and was built in Maidenhead, England. This AM transistor radio has MW and LW bands with excellent reception and sensitivity on both. It is powered by two PP9 9V batteries, has its own internal 10 inch ferrite rod antenna and a 5 inch x 8 inch elliptical speaker.

    Cosmetically this particular set has been fully cleaned externally, including the Rexine covering, all control knobs, brass-effect trim and the perspex dial. Internally all controls have been cleaned and lubricated, any of out of spec electrolytic capacitors have been replaced on the tuning and amplifier boards and two new PP9 batteries have been fitted.'
