Danish pendant lamp
Designed by Werner Schou for Danish manufacturer Coronell Elektro during the 1960s, this pendant lamp is a classic example of mid-century Scandinavian sculptural lighting.
Schou became famous for his dramatic fixtures that blended sculpted metal fins, copper slats, and textured inserts to filter light into warm, multi-dimensional patterns.
Measuring W36cm x H24cm, the lamp's layered architectural body creates an atmospheric play of shadow and light, casting a cozy glow while shielding the eyes from glare. Having arrived in our workshop without its original hanging hardware, it has been restored using a salvaged period-correct brass gallery and rewired with a grey cloth-covered cable that complements the metallic tones of the body.
Completely prepped and updated, it is fully ready to bring authentic 1960s Danish design into a modern setting.
