Walter Edwin Law etchings of Glasgow & Edinburgh
These two original works by Walter Edwin Law, exhibited in 1904 and signed by the artist, are exceptional pieces of Scottish and British artistic heritage.
One is a finely detailed etching of Charing Cross, capturing the life and architecture of the period with remarkable precision; the other depicts John Knox’s House in Edinburgh, rendered with the same skill and atmospheric depth.
Both artworks have been newly reframed in light timber with mounts that replicate the presentation used in the 1904 exhibition, preserving their authenticity while giving them a fresh, elegant finish.
Measuring 43cm by 32cm, they are perfectly sized for display and offer a rare opportunity to own works by an artist recognised as an exhibitor at the Royal Academy in the early 20th century. Priced at £240 each.
