Original 1930s Austrian Ice Axe

Good used condition with a nice original patina .  'WERK-FULPMES' is one of the many forge works in the Stubai Valley in south Tyrol , produced in the 1930s and named after Peter Aschenbrenner, an Austrian mountaineer who played a great role in conquering mountains before and after the war. The Aschenbrenner model was often issued to the German Edelweiss mountain divisions.
