Renowned for creating some of the most elegant architectural ironwork of the late 19th century, the Coalbrookdale foundry captured the essence of the period with this flowing, botanical scrollwork.
 
The ends have been fitted with 18 premium Iroko hardwood slats. Known for its incredible durability and rich grain, the Iroko will be meticulously finished and protected with traditional Tung oil to bring out its natural warmth as can been seen in the photos .
 
Whether the new owner decides to preserve the "as found" crusty historic patina of the iron ends or coat them in a classic heritage paint color, this completed bench will stand as a magnificent, heavy-duty statement piece capable of gracing a premium garden or courtyard for another century.
