This French Art Déco leather armchair is a true statement of 1920s design, beautifully restored and upholstered to bring out every nuance of its striking form.
 
From the moment we saw it, even in its worn state, we knew this piece was something extraordinary: an armchair whose curvaceous silhouette and snug embrace speak to the glamour and comfort of the Art Déco period.
 
The restoration has been both a challenge and a labour of love. After being stripped back, the frame was carefully prepared for a new lease of life.
 
We chose a rich dark tan leather, finished with contrasting dark brown leather piping, to enhance the elegant lines and highlight the chair’s distinctive proportions. Its slightly bulbous shape, paired with detachable side panels, showcases the classical detailing so characteristic of 1920s French design.
 
This is more than just a chair to sit in — it’s an experience. Sprung in the arms, base, and back, it offers a luxurious comfort rarely found in pieces of this age.
